Catch Solar Energy AS received the award for our innovative solar collectors, from Johnny Åkerholm, president and CEO in the Nordic Investmentbank. The jury consisting of 10 persons from all the Nordic countries justify their choice; "Catch Solar Energy AS solar collectors are future oriented and allows for a variety of new application. The technology represents innovation and future oriented thinking."

Catch Solar Energy AS solar collector attracted much attention and Swedish TV SVT1 - sent an interview about the solar thermal energy systems and possible applications.

During 31st January - 2nd February the Solutions 2011 - Nordic conference on renewable energy and development was held in Turku, Finland. The conference is the 4th in a series of initiatives to create cooperation and solutions across the Nordic countries. Turku / Åbo in Finland is the European Capital of Culture during 2011 and hosted the Nordic Council of Ministers when Finland superceded the presidency at the Nordic Council of Ministers. The Finnish Prime Minister Mari Kiviniemi opened the conference 31st January and the conference ended 2nd February 2011.
