Catch Solar Energy was formed on February 1st 2010. The company has a new and patented technology for flat solar collectors and solar thermal systems to heat water, heat the buildings or cooling buildings with solar energy while saving money and resources. Our solar collector technology is extremely effective and utilizes almost all of the solar energy in contrast to conventional solar cells that only utilize about 10% as electricity. Therefore, our solar collectors can be a real alternative source of energy for the energy authorities. An inexhaustible source of renewable energy.
The main product
The main product is our solar collectors, but we also support our customers with more products that are naturally included in a standard solar thermal energy systems. This may be a heat store to store solar thermal energy, junction boxes that contribute to efficient transfer of solar energy from the collector circuit and to control and automate the operation of the solar thermal collectors.
How we work
We are extremely focused on what we do and what we do not. Our core business is solar thermal system development and manufacturing of solar collectors as our main product. We are not producing other components of the solar thermal energy systems. Instead we work with the best suppliers in our industry to offer you the best package.
Where we work
We operate in Northern Europe and we plan to scale our production to reach 70,000 m2 of solar collectors in 2012. On average this equates to around 3,500 installations of solar thermal energy systems to heat hot water, heat buildings or cooling of buildings. We have a large market from Australia to the south, Africa, India, China, USA, and Americas as well as our closest markets in Europe and Scandinavia. The current capacity will reach 250,000 m2 before we plan to expand with additional production capacity.
What are our services?
A solar thermal energy system needs an efficient solar collector and we believe that we have the most efficient solar collector on the market. As an example, we compared our new technology with a conventional flat plate collectors at -20 degrees C in January 2010. The conditions were otherwise clear blue skies and sunshine. The conventional flat solar collector reached 60 degrees C, while our new solar collector was heated by the sun to an entire 105 degrees C. Our new solar collector technology makes this possible and that is the foundament of our services. In addition, we offer our regular customers extra equipment, such as; system controller, heat storage and circulation pumps to circulate water through the solar collectors. Other peripheral equipment like absorption chillers for solar thermal energy is currently not part of our services. We do not offer installation or plumbing work.

We make room for 0-zero errors, while you can be sure that you get the best energy prices in the market at low 0.05 € / kWh. This is far below all other vendors, and less than half the price of conventional energy.
